Christmas Concerts


Carol Service in the Church of the Assumption Ballyfermot on tomorrow night Thursday 13 of December at Join us as we prepare for Christmas with a number of the local choirs and an array of musical talent from our local schools and colleges.


Sandyford Parish:  Come along to listen to the wonderful Capella Male Choir & the students from St. Mary’s NS and Rosemont Secondary School this Friday 14 December at 8pm – Tickets €10 available from Office or in schools.


Multi Cultural  Christmas Carols Concert on Saturday 15 December at 7.30 pm in Aughrim Street Parish.  We will have a special spiritual and multicultural evening with the choirs of the Italian Community from the Pro-Cathedral,  Brazilian Community from Church Street, Spanish Speaking Community from Dominick Street, Polish Community from High Street, the Romanian Greek-Catholic Community from Halston Street, the African Community from Phisborough  and Syro-Malabar Community from Phisborough. All welcome!! Free entrance


O Magnum Mysterium – Join us for an Evening of Christmas Choral Music & Carols by Ascolta Saturday 15 December 8pm in Holy Cross Church, Dundrum.

Proceeds from the evening go to Children’s Medical & Research Foundation (CMRF) – Tickets €15.  Available at the Door and on Eventbrite –


Carol Service takes place in St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral on Sunday 16 December at 3.00pm with The Palestrina Choir.  Collection during the service is in aid of Crumlin Children’s Hospital.


Christmas Carol Service:  Church of the Holy Trinity Parish Choir will perform their annual Christmas Carol Service on Sunday 16 December at 5pm.  Come & join us in our celebration of our most popular Christmas Carols, a wonderful event suitable for all the family. Holy Trinity Church, Donaghmede, Dublin 13.


Joy to the World Christmas Concerts:  Join Enniskerry Parish in St. Mary’s Church as they host their fifth year running Christmas concerts at 7pm on Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 December –

Come along and listen to internationally renowned Niamh Murray, Soprano and the Enniskerry Concert Choir, guests will also be treated to a wonderful mix of traditional and modern Christmas favourites under the baton of Musical Director Gloria Smith and accompanist Charles Pearson.  You may also enjoy Christmas Afternoon Tea in the nearby Summerhill Hotel before the concerts, for those with a little more time to spare it makes for a wonderful day out.  This year’s concerts will support local charities including the Wicklow Homeless Five Loaves, Kilmacanogue National School and, through the parish, St Vincent de Paul.  All welcome.


Carol Concert:  Come along to the Church of St Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud for their Carol Concert this Sunday 16 December at 4pm. Everyone welcome.

An Evening of Carols and Reflections:  Come along on Monday 17 December at 8.00pm to the Monastery of St Alphonsus, St Alphonsus Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 9 for a wonderful evening of Carols and Reflections with the Dublin Diocesan Music Group – all in aid of Walk While You Can (MND).  For more information see

Monastic City in Glendalough: Come and join St. Kevin’s choir and the community of Glendalough for a Carol Service in the ancient Cathedral.  Meeting at the steps of the monastic site at 7.15pm to walk to the Cathedral for 7.30pm start on Tuesday 18 December 2018.  Refreshments afterwards in the Glendalough Hotel.


A Gospel Christmas on Gardiner Street   On Thursday 20 December St Francis Xavier’s Church on Gardiner Street will swing to the sounds of a festive celebration like no other! Hosted by the Gardiner Street Gospel Choir in collaboration with the Gardiner Street Junior Gospel Choir and some very special guests, attendees will be treated to THE ultimate toe-tapping, sing-along Christmas celebration of the year.  Donations on the night go to the very worthy Peter McVerry TrustTickets €12/10; under 12’s GO FREE but must have a valid ticket.
