Foundational Leadership Programme for Young Adults 2018 – 2019
Would you like to learn more about being a leader in your Church, your parish, your community? We are running the Foundational Leadership Programme for Young Adults over four Saturdays (10am-3pm) from October 2018 – March 2019.
This course is designed to support young adults and, in turn, their parishes. It is a dynamic, integrative and highly practical programme which will enable the participants to begin developing their skills as leaders and role models within their local faith–based communities.
Pope Francis reminds us that “young people are the windows through which we see the future”. Previous graduates changed careers, changed their approach to life and made a difference! Some took up leadership positions in their parish, community, school, work and World Youth Day, and many volunteered at the World Meeting of Families 2018.
The venue will be St. Paul’s Church, Arran Quay, Dublin 7 – some of the course will also take place online. The programme concludes with a Weekend Retreat in April 2018. The cost is €100 (includes course materials and retreat).
The programme is a mix of input from highly experienced experts, reflective practices, mentoring, journaling, spiritual accompaniment, workshops & social immersion. Participants are required to produce a learning log as part of an overall portfolio to serve as a framework for integrative practice.
The programme endeavours to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to be Gospel–centred transformational leaders within their own parishes, communities and pastoral settings.
