GET THE LUAS TO ST. LAURENCE’S AT DIT GRANGEGORMAN
To mark the opening of the new Luas line at the Grangegorman campus of Dublin Institute of Technology, DIT presents a vibrant week of events from December 11th to 14th in St. Laurence’s Church. Presented by the Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy Service. Free admission to all events.
- WEDNESDAY 13th 1:30PM Thomas Murphy will take us through the history of the local area around Bolton Street, with special reference to the Bolton Street area during the 1916 Rising. WEDNESDAY 2:30PM. Emmet Gill will give an overview of the uilleann pipes, talk about the role of the Club in the revival of piping in Ireland, and will play some Irish traditional tunes.
- THURSDAY 14th 1:10PM Join us for our weekly Mass in St. Laurence’s Church and be uplifted by our guest soprano Antoinette Heery.
- THURSDAY 4:30PM DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama, who will move to the new Grangegorman Campus in a few years time, will help us celebrate the Christmas season with a performance of Christmas Carols
