Cardinal John Dew  – Biography

Cardinal John Dew is Archbishop of Wellington and Vice President of New Zealand Catholic Bishops Conference.

He is the Conference Liaison for Holy Cross Seminary, the national seminary for formation of diocesan priests.

He is also the Bishop for the Catholic Bishops Committee for Ecumenism and Moderator for the Tribunal.

He spent five years as formator at the National Seminary and another five years in Youth Ministry.

As Cardinal, the Holy Father has also appointed him to the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity, the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Congregation for the Evangelisation of Peoples.
