Prayer Stations – December 9th – 23rd Explore the season of Advent in your own time through a series of seven prayer stations that will be set up around the Church.
Service of Reconciliation will take place on Monday December 16th at 7.30pm in St. Colmcille’s Church, Swords and on Saturday December 21st after 10.00am Mass in St. Cronan’s Church.

Each of the Sundays of Advent offers a theme to explore in preparation for Christmas:

Tuesday 17 December: Christ among us.

Welcome the Word in Advent – Mount Argus Young Adult Group (18-35) are offering three evenings of prayer and restful reflection for Advent from 7.30 to 8.30 pm on Thursdays 12 and 19 December in the Meeting Rooms beside Mount Argus Church, 101 Lower Kimmage Road, Dublin 6W.
Join Glasthule parish for a series of Advent talks on Monday evenings from 25th November until the 9th December at 7.30pm in St. Joseph’s Church, Glasthule, Co. Dublin.

Fr. Kieran J. O’Mahony OSA will run a course on Exploring faith during Advent.
The course will run on four consecutive Wednesday nights at 7.30pm from November 27th until December 18th in the Church of the Annunciation, Parish Hall, Willbrook Road, Rathfarnham.

Fr McVerry is a man of faith who lives the teachings of Christ every day, championing the cause of the homeless and working for a more just society, Fr McVerry will share his reflections on advent and honouring the message of Christmas in our lives.

Advent Online Retreat
The Priory Institute, Tallaght, offers an online retreat based on the ‘O Antiphons’ of Advent which were composed in the sixth or seventh century to accompany the Magnicat Evening Prayer for the last seven days of Advent. A team of presenters will guide participants through a series of reflections on these great ‘O Antiphons’ during the second part of Advent from 17th to 23rd December. This retreat is entirely online with one reflection per day beginning with an introduction on 16 December and ending on Christmas Day itself, comprising ten reflections in all.
