Pathways: Exploring Faith as an Adult

Pathways is a two-year, one evening a week, Adult Faith Development course on Thursday evenings in Holy Cross College, Clonliffe Road.

Part-Time Certificate in Religious Education (Primary)

St Angela’s College, Sligo is inviting applications for the following course beginning Autumn 2019 – Part-Time Certificate in Religious Education (Primary) with Online Delivery. The course is open to: Qualified primary school teachers; Qualified post-primary school teachers who wish to transfer to primary school teaching.  Parents, sacramental preparation teams and parish catechists who have a specific interest in the area of primary religious education may also apply.

Catholic Education PhD Scholarships

The Mater Dei Centre for Catholic Education (MDCCE) is pleased to announce a new scheme for PhD scholarships in Catholic Education.  The MDCCE PhD scholarships will partially fund tuition fees for PhD studies in Catholic Education. The MDCCE PhD scholarships provide 2,500 euro a year toward fees for four years fulltime or part-time study. Scholarship applications will only be considered for themes focused on Catholic Education in Ireland and approved as contributing to the mission of the Centre by the Director of MDCCE. Payment will be subject to acceptance on the Institute of Education PhD programme.

Applications for the first call for MDCCE scholarships must arrive by 5.00pm on Tuesday 6th August.

Courses in Pastoral Liturgy and Ministry

The National Centre for Liturgy, St Patrick’s College, Maynooth offers four Modules in the first semester of the academic year 2019-20.  What is Liturgy? The Church’s Year; Christian Initiation: Order of the Christian Initiation of Adults; Scripture and Liturgy – Ministers, Proclamation, Books.

These modules will provide training for those who may be called upon to undertake roles of leadership in parishes, cluster of parishes and deaneries.

Study Theology in DCU

Do you wish to study Theology in the Dublin area?  Have you always wanted to pursue an MA in Theology, but have not had the time? We have a flexible part-time programme and full-time too,  offered on Thursdays only.

Renewal Program for Missionaries in English
