Youth & Young Adults

Welcome to Youth & Young Adults in the Archdiocese of Dublin!

The goal of the desk of Youth & Young Adults in the Archdiocese of Dublin is to build local capacity for youth ministry throughout the diocese, by creating key hubs of youth ministry throughout our 15 deaneries, and supporting and promoting the amazing ministry that is currently taking place throughout the Diocese. We are slowing populating the map of what is happening and where, but for the moment you can find out about our Diocesan Certificate in Youth Ministry Leadership course beginning in January 2026 by clicking the button below, and catch up on our #YouthCon event held in the Diocese to mark the 40th annual World Youth Day.

Natalie Doherty, MA, is the Diocesan Faith Development Coordinator for Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the south side of the Dublin diocese (South Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow). Currently, if you are in North Dublin, please contact Natalie.

Her role involves supporting young people on their faith journey through providing opportunities for prayer, pilgrimage, and faith education & exploration. Opportunities for up-skilling and allowing young people to take on leadership roles at local level, providing peer-to-peer support is vital. Training and support is also provided for those in parishes looking to journey with, and accompany, youth and young adults in their local parish setting. She is also available to discuss setting up a youth hub within parish partnerships.

Please contact Natalie by email: natalie.doherty@dublindiocese.ie or telephone 086 104 0579
