Laudato Si’ Award

What are the Laudato Si Awards

The Laudato Si Awards are a new faith achievement award for young people aged 12 to 35 in the Archdiocese of Dublin. It is a non-competitive, voluntary, and parish-led award.

The award enables young people to deepen their understanding of Catholic teaching on caring for God’s creation and to actively respond to Pope Francis’ call to ecological conversion in their communities. It also engages the community to grow leadership in youth local capacity by leading these young people.

The award was created to put into practice Pope Francis invitation to care for our common home and give response to the climate crisis that we are living in, as described in his Enclyclical Letter Laudato Si (2015) and the Apostolic Exhortation Laudato Deum (2023).
